Informations about best school

Hello! I´m Jose from Portugal and i´m in Hotel Management course.

After this I want to make a master in my area. I know that I can make my master in best schools that are Glion Institute of Higher Education Glion, Lausanne Hotel School and Cornell School of Hotel Administration.

But I want to know why for example that Cornell is better than Glion?

Another question: If I´ll finish my course and if I´ll make a Master in one of these schools, probably after will be easier to find a good job for me, isn´t it?

Do you think that as I´m a European person it´s recommended to be in a European School or do you think that will be better for me make a master in United States for example?

Cheers

why Cornell or Lausanne ?
Recognition by the market and peers

While goodwill may not be a tangible asset, it does add value to the balance sheet…and so will graduating from a well-recognized university or school. You may not have the budget to go to Cornell or the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, but do try and ask around (perhaps a friend or relative who has studied hospitality or works in the hotel / tourism industry) and see what names come up more often than others.

Choosing the best Hotel Management School: The 10 Basics

1. Is the School recognized by official bodies?
2. Course Levels and Options
3. Recognition by the market and peers
4. Affiliations
5. Student Strength and Diversity
6. Staff / Teacher / Educator Strength and Competency
7. Physical Services & Facilities
8. Location and Secondary Costs
9. Practical Training and Industry Exposure Placements
10. Career help and planning
Of course Cornell, the best of the world. If no budget, can try to get higer GRE score for scholarship.
