Why
can we not change all the guest supplies in an occupied room for new items?

What
should you do if you find a long staying guest has a complete supply of all
guest supplies hidden away, for example 20 shampoos?

What
is the standard lay out of a guest bathroom with guest supplies and linen?

In order to minimize the cost of guest supplies,
only change out the items that are finished in occupied rooms, if the have
been used, replace the item with a new one and leave the unfinished item for
the guest to finish off.

If you find a guest hiding a stock of any hotel
supplies for example, linen, silverware, guest supplies from Housekeeping
etc.. then contact your Supervisor immediately.

TRAINING QUESTIONS

STANDARDS

5)Place
the toilet paper in the holder and place the ends in a triangular shape.

6)Check
the back of the door for any marks and wipe accordingly.

7)Wipe
the door handle and polish it before leaving.

8)Make
a final check.

Why
must the ends be placed in a triangular shape?

What
kind of marks can appear at the back of the door?

Why
does it need polishing?

Why
must you make a final check?

Presenting the toilet roll in a triangular shape
tells the guest psychologically that the bathroom has been cleaned and that
he/she is the first person to use it since then. It also looks neat and
presentable.  Chang the toilet roll if
only a small amount remains.

Children’s sticky finger marks are the most common
of marks on the back of the door.

The inside of the door handles are stainless steel
so they need polishing in order for them to gleam.

Check to ensure you have not forgotten anything.
