SAN DIEGO—HD Supply Facilities Maintenance, a leading single-source supplier to the hospitality industry, announced the launch of its dedicated Hospitality Sales Organization to focus on the unique needs of hospitality customers.

The new sales organization will have a national footprint and virtually 100 dedicated professionals focusing on the hospitality industry. Industry veteran Douglas Peterson, market vice president, Hospitality Sales, will lead the organization and oversee the hospitality national account team, six regional sales managers that are responsible for 60 field account representatives and more than 25 inside sales representatives.
New ERP System Deployed
The Hospitality Sales Organization, combined with the deployment of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system—a $40 million investment—and enhancements to its distribution centers will enable the company to continue to provide value added products and services to its customers as the company continues to grow.
HD Supply Facilities Maintenance’s ERP system was designed to improve customer service by allowing faster, more targeted service to customers, while providing streamlined processes in corporate functions such as accounting, credit services and inventory management.
HD Supply Facilities Maintenance offers more than 20,000 stocked products from its 35 distribution centers with same-day shipping and delivery within two days. As a single-source supplier HD Supply Facilities Maintenance provides both housekeeping and maintenance supplies from one source.
